At Your Service

  • Serve the Majority of the Minority

English language learners across the country speak 150 languages, the majority, about 73 percent speak Spanish. EchoED’s dedicated Spanish line is always answered by live bilingual receptionists 24/7/365.

  • Welcome One, Welcome All

About a quarter of ELLs speak 149 other languages! EchoED’s bilingual voicemail receptionists help schools roll out the metaphorical red carpet and make a great first impression in almost any first or second language.

  • A Built-In Parent Involvement Strategy

Bilingual receptionist services are prevention, intervention, and teacher retention strategy rolled up in one. Services significantly boost family and student engagement, and dramatically reduce teacher frustration and burnout.

Live Bilingual Receptionists

Available for Spanish-English Only

EchoED Spanish bilingual receptionists are live, humans who can take messages regarding attendance, document parental concerns, notate requests for parent-teacher conferences, jot down updated parent contact information, dictate publicly available information from your school website (i.e. academic calendars, school lunch menus, staff directory, department contacts, bus information) and text parents quick access links, offer warm transfers, and more — in English and Spanish.

Bilingual Voicemail Receptionists

Available for All Other Languages

For all other non-Spanish languages, EchoED provides fast, high-quality, and affordable voice message reception services. Parents place incoming calls to a toll-free number and enter their language extension. Calls are automatically transferred to a voicemail system, which plays a pre-recorded greeting in the native language and prompts the parent to leave a detailed message, comfortably in the preferred language.

These voicemail messages are then recorded and stored in EchoED’s CRM along with the caller information. Our bilingual receptionists combine the power of AI technology and the sensibilities of real people to efficiently review and accurately transcribe messages that are then relayed to a school designee via email and/or text. Inbound parent phone calls missing key information are assigned to agents for follow-up calls to the parent.

One Solution Fits All Schools!

Parents read, write, and speak a variety of languages at different literacy levels. It is thus essential that every school offer the most accessible communication format using the most ubiquitous communication tool— oral communication, over the phone.

Public | Charter | Title I | Private | Magnet | Alternative

All multilingual parents with children enrolled at all types of schools NEED bilingual receptionists to ensure equitable communication. EchoED also provides American Sign Language (ASL) for our deaf and hearing-impaired parent community ensuring that all parents’ voices are heard loud and clear.
